After construction, I ran this many times over my new carport  ground. So many nails and screws picked up.

I bought this roller because the roofers I hired to re-shingling had this small, flimsy magnetic roller that just didn't justify the job they were doing.  Its magnetic pull was probably less than a pound!  I went out after they left and used my Vevor roller.  I picked up an additional 54 nails and staples.  This roller was awesome on the driveway and even over gravel.  However, when rolling over longer grass, I found that you have to roll slower and even rake the grass in opposite directions between sessions.  Otherwise, the grass can pull the nails off the roller.  As soon as you hear the click of a nail hitting the bar, release it or it may just get re-deposited back into the grass.  The roofer was shocked that his 'tool' didn't do as thorough a job as mine.  It pays to have stronger magnetic pull for sure!
