Have used it a couple of times in minus three or four degrees and it didn't freeze up at all like all my other hoses have. 
I would suggest doubling up the washers on both sides to get a good solid seal otherwise it leaks. But other than that the heat Trace is really good. I expected it to be a lot heavier than it actually is. 

This product is going to be tested right down to minus 50 so hopefully it holds up.
