We like the burger press a lot, we have the 6" model. There is not a selection for choosing a thickness so it takes someone paying attention to not press to hard (we like our a bit loose) but once they are dialled in there is no problem.

We use a 6.5oz ball and there is not a lot of room to fit it into the machine. We also wish the inside drop switch was on the left side not the right.

We would buy again if we needed a different size.
