Diesel heater winter saver.

Years ago I was looking at the $1500 CAD plannar diesel heaters because I wanted a portable kit that was reliable then found out vevor was making portable kits now with great user reviews at an amazing price. We bought the 2kw on sale for $167 and is now the primary heat source for my small truck camper and at this price probably buying another as a backup for longer trips out.

I've had this unit for a couple months now running 24/7 in my enclosed trailer. On average where i am i do see -30c to about -45c. The trailer is a 7'x16', 3.5' V-nose with 7' ceilings all aluminum. Insulated walls R-5, ceiling is R-7.5, it runs about 60-80% on max to hold roughly +1c to +5c inside the trailer. the fuel pump clicky is a bit noisy but you get use to it. Fuel burn, i have it ran off of a 45L Marine fuel tank, when its below -40c i can see about 20L of consumption every 5-7 days. it burned more getting everything up to temp i have inside the trailer which is fair.

Small spaces like trailers, sheds, ice shacks, vehicle camping, i'm sure a 2Kw unit is perfectly fine. I am on the edge of i should have went with the "8Kw" unit, labeled 8 but most are actually 4s. This price was right and the features are what i was looking for.

No issues yet, if there are any these are very simple to work on. Parts are wildly available through many sources. They are a more fancy truck parking heater.

Works good for a small space

Keeps my 8x12 hunting cabin at 16 Celsius at -20 while I am out hunting and can't feed the wood stove. I have it powered with a battery kept charged by solar. Burns far less diesel than I had anticipated and although noise is not a factor for me (because I'm not there) I still find it exceptionally quiet. My only complaint is that the controls on the front of the unit don't work and I can only use the remote. The carbon monoxide detector also doesn't seem to work. I only know this because the exhaust came loose the first time I tested it (my fault for not using quality hose clamps). CO detector did nothing even though the entire place was filled with exhaust gas and smoke.

Effective

This little 2kw suitcase model is perfect for mobile setups like camping, ice fishing, or emergency heater for home or vehicle. It's compact and ready use. The newer units like this have CO alarm, spill proof caps and comes with AC to DC power cords or can be hooked up direct to DC wich is a great feature.

Delivered very quickly! Well and qualitatively packaged. Matches the description. High-quality product. The price and quality are excellent. I tried it and was satisfied. I recommend it.

This is a great diesel heater that warms up my workshop quite quickly.  The only issue I have is the very poor quality instruction manual.  YouTube will be your friend!
