Welds were nice and clean, overall good value.

Good value evaporation pan

This is a real step up from using chafing pans to boil your sap.  Metal was thicker and stiffer than expected for the price, and was true stainless that doesn't rust.  I used it over a simple stack of concrete blocks.  The straight sides means that there is no scorching of the sap, so you get a lighter looking syrup with no burning of the sugars in the sap for a much better taste and clarity.  This pan worked well for me, and really increased my boiling rate so I didn't have to boil for days and days.
The welds on the pan are well done.  The formed lip of the pan has a sharp edge, that took me under a minute with a file to round over the edge for ease of handling.  The valve is handy for drawing off the syrup.
Easy to clean at the end of the season, and I kept the box it came in to store it ready to go next spring.

Evaporator Pan

After a a few years of boiling sap in chafing pans, this really changed the clarity and colour of my syrup.  The straight sides of this pan meant that the sap did not scorch and caramelize into dark syrup. 
I just placed it on concrete blocks over the fire, and was surprised at the boil rate of this pan compared to the 3 catering pans that it replaced.  Boiled my sap much faster this year.
The thickness of the steel gives good heat distribution, and the draw off valve is very convenient.  My results are comparable to a hobby evaporator costing thousands more.

Maple pan game changer

Worked out well for what I was using it for, which was boiling maple syrup. The steel is thicker than I thought and I would buy again, but only if anything happens to this one.
