I own three microscopes for stonesetting: a Leica A60 from GRS, a 30 year old Zeiss OPMI, and this Vevor scope. The Vevor is not as good as the other two, but given that the scope plus ball vise were not much more than the headrest for the Leica, it is an amazing bargain. The swing arm is not as good as a GRS acrobat, but again is 1/10th the price. Optics surprisingly crisp, working distance perfect. Ball vice is very useful size and leather lined ring holder is an unexpected bonus. It is hard to set stones 3mm and under without a microscope--I would recommend this to anyone but a full time professional stonesetter.  Expectations exceeded!

It's ridiculous that you can get all this for so cheap shipped from within Canada and have no complaints about quality. But here we are. It even came with a unadvertised 0.5x barlow lens, gives all the working distance you could ever want.

Great for repairing phones mounting it to my desk was a little bit hard but that was more of a space issue than a microscope issue overall I would absolutely recommend
