It's very easy to set up, even for someone who isn't a pro woodworker, and the guides make drilling clean, accurate holes super simple. The kit comes with plenty of accessories, which is great because I didn't have to buy anything extra to start my project. Overall, it's a reliable and convenient tool that makes joinery a lot easier.

It's not as good as the Kreg but it's also half the price and does everything that the Kreg does. It's obviously copied technology but it's hard to justify paying twice as much for aluminum and blue paint. If you're an acid user or professional you should buy the Kreg for the build quality and better tolerances but DIYers like myself will be happy with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cost effective. dose exact same thing as more pricey options. it's cheaper than the same options by name brands and it's made of steel unlike said name brands. no brainer when purchasing a jig like this. you would be crazy to by a name brand jig like this for 50 to 70% more when you can use the extra money on wood clamps or something.

Fairly easy to assemble and use, if one is familiar with pocket hole jigs in general. The only issue I had was that both of the depth collars for the drill bits were slightly ribbed on the inside, so would not pass over the bit. A few minutes on the drill press with a 3/8" bit solved that. Tried it on several pieces of pine, and everything worked fine. Probably not sturdy enough for a full-time cabinet / furniture maker, but for a hobbyist like myself it's terrific. As someone else has said, it's a good idea to fasten it to a piece of plywood for a stable base, if keeping it packed in its case isn't a priority.

It's a great jig. If you don't have one. You should get it. But i did have another one. The milescraft. And i think its better than this one. There's a lot of option out there. I'm confident that this one is a good kit. But it's not the top of the line
