Starting up my furnace to season the crucible.  It has been sprayed with rigidizer and once cooled I'll apply refactory cement. 5 minutes to a nice glow, so the melting process will not take long.
I am going to love using this furnace.

Delivery was fast and no damage or missing parts.  I'm making some tools to lift and pour the crucible.  I used a spray on rigidizer on the insulation instead of refactory cement.  Can't wait to try it out.

It came fast and in good shape it is working as it should  so if you need to do some smeltering it is a good choice to get because the price is definitely right  and it works good

Well packaged, well made and very fast delivery. The lid comes with a handle which the customer has to attach. Not sure if I wouldn't prefer a hinged lid. We'll see when I get a chance to use it.
