If I were to buy a sled again I would make sure of two things .
1) that the sled has some L-brackets that allow more Hight so you can put a thicker piece of wood in. I think there is another model that has those L-brackets . 
2) the 4 black plastic clamps that hold the clear plastic base that the router is attached to ( & slides ) are crap . They don't tighten very well . I ended up using clamps to hold the router in place . Speaking of the clear plastic base ( 2 were supplied ) , it would be so much better if the base had some ball bearings to help it move as it is very tight in the slots & difficult to move left & right .
