Have used a similar device for years.  This is an exact replacement.  Easy to use.  Very fast compared to the old one.  Distills about one gallon at a time.  Takes up very little space.

Good product overall. A bit difficult to handle the lid, which is also the distillation device, but manageable. It takes about 4-5 hours to make a gallon, a little longer than specified at 1l/hr but that's OK. I only use it for ironing and floor cleaning so I can't comment on the taste. I think it's worth it in the long run.

Efficient way of having distilled water

This unit puts out 1 L per hour, so you are running dry right after 4 hours.  If it runs dry you will get some burnt.  To fix this, set a timer or outlet timer for 3 hours and 45 min.  Fill to the Full line and only run it 3:45.  To help with cleaning, add a little bit (1/8 to 1/4 tsp) of citric acid to every batch, and it will help a lot with calcification.  You'll still need to do a periodic 1-2 tbsp of citric acid cleaning, but not as often.  Don't run it dry, and add a little citric acid to each batch.

Simple design gets the job done

I was looking for an alternative to purchasing distilled water for my himidifiers, since I dislike having to lug all those jugs into my house. This device works great, just fill with tap water, turn on and walk away. In about 3 hours, have  approximately 1 gallon of distilled water. The cost was very reasonable and it couldn't be easier to use. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Since I had a stroke, the vascular nurse said to drink pure water, instead of hard mineral water from our well. This water distiller works wonders for me. I can't believe how much sediment is left behind in the distiller pot. I told my husband I'll never drink other water again. Now our whole family drinks distilled water. It leaves no bad after-taste like regular water.

heats up fast but takes several hours to fill up one gallon.  I know this is standard with distilled water makers. bought white to match bathroom as using for my husband's c pap machine.  minimal assembly.

This unit works fine. What saves it is a timer. Set it to run for 3 1/2 hours. Don't use the auto shut off or it will burn itself up. This is not our first one. If you don't use a timer it won't last long. They are ALL the same.

Lasted four months and then broke via an electrical issue. After each use so much minerals build up on the bottom, and the machine auto-off completely dries out the bottom and cements the minerals to the bottom. The auto-off feature comes on too delayed and then ends up breaking the machine. Will be trying another brand, and recommend you do the same. unless you want to buy a new machine every 4 months.

Broke in four months

This item came cracked around the water outlet.  I filled in the return information and have not heard anything  My credit card was charged and no information on where to return it or even get a refund.

Leaked from the bottom after only a dozen uses. Attempting to return but am being told to send pictures and videos. It leaks, I am not going to run water through it again to have another mess to clean up. Unfortunate because it is easy to use.
