First thing to do is lose the wrench that comes with the rack.  Get your 17mm socket and ratchet.  That will make things a lot faster.  The front set I put on was backwards.  I had to come in and look it up online to see which way it was supposed to face.  It was hard to tell in the black and white booklet that comes with the rack.  No big deal.
Glad they are easy on/easy off.  I bought this so I could haul my kayak and pull my RV at the same time.  Now if I can get that 80 pound fishing kayak up there by myself I will be very happy!

Been waiting a long time for a simple to use clamp on ladder rack.  Most are one piece and require 2 or more people to place or remove.  This one requires no drilling, fits many different beds and one person can easily install or remove it.   I like that extra hardware is included for those who do want to drill and bolt onto the bed.  Just a note, since this is a 2 piece rack your tool box need not be removed but bed rails will need to be taken off.  Also, will not work if you have a slide in bed liner unless you want to modify it.

This said it would fit a full size bed and that it would fit our truck, but it wasnt even close. My husband had to purchase  additional metal bars to fabricate it to fit.
