Our go to sauce

I love adding VH General Tao Stir Fry Sauce to my stir fried vegetables because it gives the dish just the right amount of flavor without being too overpowering . Great on rice dishes as well and versatile enough to use on meat and chicken.

Add Flavour To Your Meals

This VH sauce is so easy to use to make general tao chicken! What is also interesting is that you don't need to marinate the chicken for a long time. It's very useful when you have a busy day. I'm giving it 4 stars because even if it tastes good, it does not taste like classical general tao sauce.

Easy to use and tastes very good

This was my first time purchasing this sauce and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I've used it as a sauce for home made general Tao, but I've also used it to dip breaded chicken in which was delicious as well! My only note is that is was more ginger-y than I had expected.

Great sauce, a bit ginger-y

I like the consistency of the sauce and when I use it in my noodle stir fries, it soaks in nicely and makes them flavorful. I do find it a little sweet so I find if I use a lot of ginger, it balances out well.

Interesting Flavour

It has a flavour of sweet and spicy also the flavour of ginger and garlic makes it a great flavour. It's goes really well with chicken and beef as well.

I tried this for the first time and found it to be tangy and sweet. It is not my favourite but it is good. It was sweeter than I thought it would be hence the four stars.

This sauce does not taste General Tao. It is a sweet sauce with no particular taste. The whole family did not like it. Too bad, because usually VH sauces are good.
