I purchased this kit from another retailer about in 2010. It has been in service since inflating tires for off road, running air horns and occasionally a quick die grinder. Ran perfect and still does. Just needs a rebuild kit.  

Replaced with a viair v480c and upped the whole system to 200 psi and the new compressor lasted 2 fills. The very first time I turned it on it was pretty noisy but seemed to quiet down some.  On the 3rd top off (I found some leaks and fixed them) the compressor won't build pressure anymore. Less than 8 hours old. 
Now it's a huge ordeal to get viair to warranty the part. It's about a 3-4 week turnaround. I have to contact them, get an RGA number essentially RMA number then wait for them to get it. Wait for them to tear it down and repair a brand new compressor. Or have them tell me sorry I'm out of luck and must pay to have them fix it. May take 3-4 weeks. For a 300$ compressor. That's aggravating to say the least. 
Putting the 450c back in for the time being.
