Size

Not used this yet us a canner, but want to have it on hand when canning season arrives.  I have an induction cooktop and pot options are limited so finding this is a real plus.  Have used it to make several large batches of Veggie Soup and very happy with weight, quality and size.  And easy clean-up.  
My last water-bath canner was the black enamel type and it eventually rusted; this should last indefinitely.  Wish the price had been less but given scarcity and availability in the age of COVID-19 I am pleased to have this.

Stainless Water-Bath Canner and Cooking Pot

We needed a flat bottomed canner since we have a smooth surface electric stove. This was perfect. We also liked that it was well made but not heavy. The glass top and temperature gauge were an added bonus for us. We bought it late in the year so have only canned 14 jars of tomatoes so far. I am looking forward to doing jams next. This canner is well worth the extra cost over the enameled ones that chip and rust.

Just what I wanted.

I have not yet used this canner pot, so I can't comment on its function. However, the delivery and packing were great. Arrived in perfect condition. The canner is everything I had hoped it to be. The size should be perfect for canning. I love the glass top for inside viewing and the boil gauge on the top. Also, the bottom is heavily clad, so I should be able to use this as a large stockpot, such as when making applesauce. I am sure this is going to be one of my best purchases ever!

Arrived as described. This brings This brings water to a boil so much faster on my glass top than a standard canner. I've only used several times, but I am very pleased. The additional temperature gauge on the lid is wonderful.
