I absolutely love this yarn. It makes really nice blankets, cant wait to make sweaters. I have no problems with worming with any size crochet hook (7 to 5) or knitting needles 9. I almost canceled this order, Im glad I didnt. Maybe the worming came from a different stitch, I have had that happen with a bigger yarn.

I got this amazingly soft yarn, I was so excited to start my project. The first color change in the skein was tied. No gradual color change or dye change, literally two different colors tied together. Ok, one bad change I can live with, but after the second one? If I wanted tied yarn, I could have strung together my own yarn. Still super soft, but not worth the money. I love most of the Bernat products, but this one missed the mark.

Stripe color jumps are TIED

I bought 4 cakes of velvet stripes to make the crochet blanket pattern that was on the label. The pattern consists of double crochets and extended double crochets. The blanket worked up quickly and looked beautiful...for a few days. I found out too late that velvet yarn is very bad for worming. Worming is when the yarn moves and you end up with loops sticking out in all the wrong places. To prevent worming with velvet, it needs a pattern with tight, small stitches. So Im very disappointed that I wasted all this beautiful yarn on the INCLUDED pattern and more disappointed that Bernat didnt realize their own mistake in putting that pattern with that yarn.

Soft and pretty but beware of worming

This yarn is beautiful and so soft. BUT there is no gradual color change. There is a knot to join each color and a few other knots in between.

I bought yarn a few months back ran out so half finished afghan. Cant find it anywhere

Love the yarn

I bought this yarn as I loved the colours and the softness. I am extremely disappointed that the colours are knotted together and not a continuous blend. In 20 rows of crochet (one ball) - there were six knots. I am afraid to start using the other balls that I purchased. I have 2 other colours that I purchased to make afghans with. I will be using them, but I will not be purchasing any more of this yarn.
