I did have to read the manual to figure out the remote buttons and to be sure I did not do anything that is harmful to the unit (like using extension cord). I have never used a space heater but have wanted one for winter months. I was not sure what to expect and I wanted to give this unit a fair chance. When I first turned it on it would shut down after a few minutes and I do not know why. After I played with the remote some I finally got it to work properly. In my large drafty living room the unit is not powerful enough to warm up the space; in my master bedroom it is warming the space up much more effectively. It took some figuring out but now that I have it is a great space heater but only in smaller less open spaces.

Easy & Convenient

You can also just run the fan which I also think is a plus. On high you can feel the heat from about 3ft away. There is a weird smell at first but only when it's first used. I would be interested how this affects your electric bill but that is to be said with any electric heater. The remote is also super convenient! I can't wait to use this more in the future possibly when doing projects in the garage or basement in winter months. It is also super lightweight I can move it around super easily, easy to take up and down stairs etc. It has a nice black and sleek design, could easily go in any room.
