We love this product!  We are amazed at the number of pre-recorded sounds, music and stories plus you can even record your own voice!  This can be used to sleep train your baby AND to help your older child fall asleep easier.  Older children can even help pick the colour(s) for the nightlight and they can record their own voices.  I might even try it in my room lol.  We recommend this product 1000%!

Amazing VTech V-Hush Plug Soother!

I love that this product is wireless and easily portable. My little one really enjoyed the different sounds and the starlight are her absolute favourite. The app is awesome and very user friendly and is a must have for the machine as I found using it without the app a bit challenging. I truly enjoyed watching my child's eyes light up before bed every night while using this and she calmly went to sleep.

Arrived with perfect packaging. Instructions were easy to use. This is an excellent product. Love the built in songs, light and connect Bluetooth to your phone. I highly recommend.

easy way to sooth your baby

It's a great little product!
I love how it's controlled on an app for easy use, even from another room. The app is great because it even has sleep training advice for parents. The soother itself glows different colours, or just one depending on your preference. It plays white noise, brown noise, lullabies, nature sounds and so much more! 
My only complaint is the louder it is, the worse the quality of sound is. Mind you, you won't have it cranked for a baby!

Great product

I was looking for a something that shows day and night time in a fun and attractive way to kids for their sleep training in their room so they can stay in the bed whole night and get up when sun is out. Thankfully I found this device. I can control it through my phone and it has soothing sounds with light. Love it. Thank you home tester club.

Awesome compact device!

I love this so much, Not only is it great for kiddos, but it could be used for adults as well! I struggle with sleeping and this has helped me also. It has a variety of light options which are versatile and customizable. 
The fact this comes with a scheduling option makes the remote/Bluetooth function makes it easier to schedule those bedtimes. It also has a great variety of sounds, including white noises, music, and recording.

Shhh we're sleeping

Everything about this thing when being controlled by your phone is excellent. The only downfall to the whole device is that it's a little bit difficult to use, when pushing or tapping directly on the unit. Once you get used to it it's not so bad and honestly with how easy the controls from your phone work, you really don't ever have to physically touch the Device at all. The lighting and sounds this makes is already awesome but you can kick it up a serious notch with how it plays music and can even read your child a story. You would never expect this feature set could be packed into such a small little plug in nightlight.

Very intuitive little device!

Home Tester Club gave me the opportunity to test the Vtech BC8113 V-Hush Plug Sleeping Training Sooth Speaker in exchange for my honest review.

We have used a white noise machine for our baby since they've been born, so I was excited to see what else this could offer us. The Vtech speaker uses a free app in your smartphone to connect to the device via Bluetooth. You can also turn it off and on, change your favorite mode, and adjust the night light brightness directly on the speaker. The speaker needs to be plugged into an outlet. On the app their are numerous options including sleep training routines, schedules, white noise, lullabies, recordings, stories, etc.

Honestly, I found it quite overwhelming. To me, there are too many options to choose from. Overall, I could see why this would be handy to new parents that are just trying to figure out the sounds their baby will fall asleep to, or for fussier babies. 3 out of 5 stars because it works well, but just not for our household.

A lot of gimmicks

This compact baby soother is convenient to use at any plug at home. It can play soothing lullabies in piano, read stories, and has different night light settings. What did not meet expectations was the fact that I could not seem to adjust any functions by simply tapping on the soother, and I can only control using the app. Furthermore, my baby did not really fall asleep with the music and/or night lights. He seemed to become more alert listening to the music, and paying attention to the lights. Perhaps it would be more effective with younger infants.
