Got this for my grandson for a Christmas gift. Everyone in the family that has seen it, has had to test it out it is so much fun and so cute. I can't wait to see my grandson open it on Christmas day. He is just one but is right at that stage of learning so much and I believe this little bear is going to help him grow so much as it is so interactive and able to be personalized in so many ways.

GOOD TRAVEL BUDDY

Bought the for my 10 month old grandchild for Christmas. He loves the sound features and bright colors especially the light up heart. The electronic feature which allows parents to download personalized features right from your computer is awesome. Excellent price and delivery time. Very pleased with this purchase.

Vtech-Cody the Smart Cub Bear

My 5 year old special needs nephew loves this! He takes it everywhere and plays with it everyday. The personalization it great and makes it more special. The couple flaws is that the ear on/off button doesn't work on his bear. And the "celebrate" paw only says two phrases unless it is one of the special days you pick. Other than that it is a great toy.

Nice learning toy

I was very disapointed how the product was shipped. it came in an envelope and the box the bear was in was badly smashed. it should of been in a box to protect the box the bear was in.

good for a 1 year old

Bought this for my son for Christmas and the learning lodge wouldn't work so the toy was useless. Vtech wouldn't do anything and thought that there was nothing wrong with selling you a toy for Christmas that they knew wouldn't work.

Terrible toy, horrible support. Do not buy!

Vtech Cody the Smart Cub arrived with the battery tag removed. I replaced the batteries with new. Pushed the heart and it started going nuts and would not shut off. For me to return this item back to walmart I would have travel 90 miles round trip. Not worth the $14.76.

Bad product

Purchased this item for my sons first birthday. Item didn't want to connect to the computer at first. Once I got the item customized it didn't want to work. It kept beeping. You would grab his hands and in the middle of a sentence it would beep, and beep and beep. The only way I could get the toy to even turn off was to take the batteries out. Not satisfied at all. Will be purchasing the leap frog version.

Just didn't work right.

I bought and programmed this toy for my 9-month-old son with his name, holidays, colors, music, everything. As Christmas approaches, however, the overwhelmingly consistent message repeats, "Christmas is coming, [Name]! Have you finished your holiday shopping?" The only thing this "smart" toy is "teaching" my child is how to manipulate Mommy's purchasing power. I took the batteries out today. My son has other great VTech toys, but this one is a big fail.

Not educational; poor message

The toy was great while it lasted. After playing with it not even a couple of months, the power button as well as the music button stopped working and now its used as a regular toy until I open him up and turn the toy on from the Inside. Very poor quality. If you want a toy that lasts, this one is not it. Upon trying to reach Vtech many times, i never received a response. Poor Customer service is not a good way to retain customers.
