Purchased this Monitor for my 88 yr old Mother %26 myself so I can continually hear her and know if she needs anything.

I currently use  the VTech Enhanced Range Digital Audio Baby Monitor to  aid my 83 year old mother who has her own space.   Not wanting to  invade her privacy or space ,  I  viewed multiple baby monitors and I decided on the VTech line after reading the reviews.  I am pleased to say the VTeck monitor allows me to hear when she needs me , in addition to when something does not sound right. I now have peace of mind especially at bed time, when my anxiety works over time.

Peace of Mind with Baby Monitor

These VTEC monitors are amazing. The sound quality is off the charts. I purchased these monitors because I take care of my 89 year old mother and I put it in her room to where I could hear her. I can actually hear her breathing at night. that's just how good the quality is! I would recommend them to anybody and everybody whether you're taking care of an elderly parent or a newborn baby. They're amazing.!!

The range of connection is actually very surprising, as well as the charging. Assembly takes about 30 seconds lol. I've used the same baby monitor through three babies, I've dropped it so many times and it's never broke! I absolutely love this thing and would recommend it to every single parent. Very happy and experienced customer.

Love this monitor, don't have the need for video so this is great. I can hear my tot right away in the a.m. or after nap, I even can take parent 
-end outside to enjoy the rest of the family while we wait for brother to wake. Highly recommend

I bought this baby monitor to use in my brothers room so he could  holler for me at night since he can no longer walk. It was the only one like it I could find at Walmart. I'm glad it doesn't have the monitor that I can see my brother on it.... he's entitled to his privacy. I can hear him very well. However the instructions said you can only unplug the base part for just a few minutes. It would be nice to be able to unplug it and take it outside with me without worrying about it going dead. It does the job but could be better.

Wish the battery lasted longer in between charging and/or notified you when the battery was low instead of just not working, but it works great otherwise.

This baby monitor was okay. Unfortunately it didn't match what I thought I was getting I was hoping a two-way verbal and hearing monitor.  There was nothing wrong with the monitor.  Just not what I wanted.

My daughter's room has a sound machine in it. Instead of hearing consistent sound machine noise, the feedback on the parent end is very choppy and the sound machine sound goes in and out (I'm guessing maybe the noise cancellation is turning off and on?) it makes it hard to listen to
