[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a toy that keeps a toddler entertained without resorting to a full tablet or video screen, this VTech Dora Learning Phone is a fantastic middle ground. My toddler absolutely loves pretending it is her 'real' phone. She spends a lot of time doing the talking games and mimicking the conversations.
From an educational standpoint, it packs a lot in. It covers numbers, counting, and simple memory games. I also love that it introduces Spanish words, which fits perfectly with the Dora theme.
As a parent, my favorite part is how useful this is for 'containment' situations. It is a lifesaver in the car or at restaurants when I need her to sit still and stay occupied, but I don't want to hand over my smartphone. It's durable, interactive, and educational. Highly recommend!

The matching, counting, shapes and memory all wrapped in familiar Dora characters that keep the mood light and fun. The music and character voices are upbeat but not overwhelming and the ability to choose ringtones adds a nice touch of personalization. It lights up and has many different activities you could do on the phone. Your child will learn to count, their shapes, and another language. I love that it is both in English and Spanish. My little one needs more work on her Spanish so this phone is definitely helping. The battery life is great, last a long time. If it's not in use it turns off and doesn't stay on the whole time. The sound is good too, you're able to hear it well and clearly. My daughter can spend a good amount of time playing with it. She says she has herself an iPhone haha.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's ok, works good, but it is kind of hard to understand how to work it and what is going on. It takes some practice & a lot of time get used to, the screen doesn't show color so it's not going to keep a child's interest for too long. It's a good & working product, my son is almost 4 & it's hard to explain to him how to work it. He works the tablet a bit easier.
