It encourages crawling and movement — the puppy wiggles, plays upbeat tunes, and even moves around to grab baby's attention. The songs and sounds are cheerful without being too loud or annoying, and the different textures keep my baby curious and engaged. I love that it also teaches basic numbers and encourages interaction with its “Follow Me” feature.

This puppy is great for learning motor skills, tactile and sensory. It's so many things you can do. It has 40 sing along songs, melodies, sounds and phrases. It also has numbers that it counts. The dog also walks and counts the steps. There is a heart but on the side that you push for the dog to interact and do all the functions it can. This does comes with batteries but when you need new ones it takes 3 AA batteries. There is also a volume control and an automatic shut off.
