I bought this for one of the grandkids for Christmas. It is quite large and looks like it would be a lot of fun to play with. I like that it converts into a fire station for more pretend play than just a fire truck. I also like that it has a boy and a girl and they are different colors / races. I had it shipped and Walmart actually delivered it locally. It arrived in excellent condition.

I recommend this product for any toddler

We were all pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Have a grandson who turned two in October. This was one of his Christmas presents. Gave it to him last night. He still hasn't stopped playing with it. It is almost bigger than he is! His mother tried to help him find the spot for the yellow ladder and couldn't. He took it and found it right away. This one is truly a winner!

The Best Toy......

The box it came in was surprisingly big. The son I got it for is six. It seemed like it might be a little young but it's not. His four year old sister loves it, too. The toy has lots of sounds and things to do. Comes with two people. Can be pulled up to make part of a building of sorts. Lots of fun for the kids.

Buy It!

I bought this to give my grandson for Christmas.  It looks like he will really like it.  I am not sure about the fire station attachment.  It seems a little complex for a young toddler
The toy looks well made enough to survive the rough play of a toddler.

It's cute and the sounds and decals are great but I don't recommend it at all. The top of the cab doesn't snap into place no matter what you do and I'm an adult and can't do it. How is a child supposed to do it? I'm going to be calling vtech.

The concept is good. The execution is terrible. The top of the toy will NOT stay down, causing endless frustration for my three-year-old and his parents. He would prefer to play with it in the truck mode but cannot. It's definitely a design flaw. The company did little to address it other than suggest that I return it.

Flawed Toy

What started as an exciting, happy present opening on Christmas Day turned into a disappointment. When my granddaughter first opened the box, she was delighted. Unfortunately, I will vividly remember the look of sadness on my granddaughters face when she opened this fire truck and attempted to close it again. It doesnt stay closed. This wasnt mishandled or played with roughly at all. It was broken from the start. 
My husband and son-in-law believe it is a design flaw, I think it is a ripoff.  Look at the first picture I posted and you can see it how bad it looks. Imagine a soon to be 3 year olds disappointment to receive a toy that doesnt close. This grandma wants to caution anyone thinking of buying this to this to rethink a potential purchase.

it does not lock back down to be a firetruck. We checked the others and they all did the same thing bummer because my son wanted this so bad!

It's cute but has a major design flaw.  It won't latch down without a lot of effort and when your child tries to push it around as the truck it will just pop back up.   So sad bc it could be amazing.  But we are returning it!  Fix this vtech and then we will buy it!
