I bought this product for my 2yr old daughter and my 8yr son who has autism and with patience we figured everything out. They love it and I will purchasing another one for my 3yr son,most or all my kids electronics come from vtech. So thank you vtech you just keep getting better.

When you first turn on the KidiBuzz you will plug it in to your power source  it will go thru and install a series of updates this does take anywhere up to about half an hour. you  as the parent can set up an account on your phone so you can text your child with pictures and messages photos and drawings as long as the KidiBuzz is connected to Wifi.  This comes with many games and you have the ability to buy more very reasonably priced at 2.99 for most games and has the option to bundle additional games if you want.  Our son is on the Autism Spectrum this is a very refreshing and educational change from the regular tablets and ipads. Until you go thru and register the product it will say that you can't access as a guest ... So make sure you get thru the registration unlike other users.  This product is underrated we are more than happy with the joy it brings and the educational games you will not be sorry if you buy this... oh and it's easy to see on the screen ... the screen is easy to see

Bought it for my daughter's 8th Birthday. She loves it. Camera quality is very good. Very sturdy and fun to use. Would surely recommend it.

Great buy

Bought this for my daughter's 7th birthday. She loves it so far! Everything is educational or at least kid friendly to start with. I was concerned about the 'videos' it had available until I saw the options and it was mostly animals being cute, instead of toy reviews and other junk that kids watch on YouTube. You can download Android and iOS apps, but I think its fine just the way it comes. This product does great for mimicking cell phones. Pictures, filters,video recordings. Drawings, emojis and pictures can also be texted(wifi) to parents approved contacts.
Contacts have to download and create an account(free) and an email is sent to parent to be approved.

The only thing I don't care for, is having to pay .50cents to prove your an adult. Just feels inconvenient for setup.

After giving it a full charge (about 5 hrs) and kids had gone to bed I began setting up the parental settings and checking out everything. Within 30-45 minutes time it had eat up half of the battery. It was slow and very sluggish. The camera is the most awful camera on a device I've ever seen. Plus when you register it to get the extended warranty and extra children's apps you have to give them a credit or debt card to pay $0.50. 
Did I return it, most definitely.

I bought this phone for my sons 7th birthday. He has Autism and I thought this would be a lot more user friendly for a child then his iPad. It seems really difficult to use and unlike the iPad you can't zoom in our out of the screen which makes it hard to see or use. It is also not easy to set up an account and it keeps saying we are connected as a guest. So you can't freely register and sign up. I am still trying to figure that part out. I would totally send it back if we still had the box it came in. Sadly it was thrown away. So now he grabs his iPad again because its easier then this toy phone. Ugh.

Not very user friendly

don't waste your money! the screen  cracked in 3 days and is nonfunctional.It was a Christmas present and its broken Dec. 28 Th. The design is terrible, not durable or kid proof.I contacted Vtech and they were indifferent and unhelpful.

Dont waste your money, youd think for 100 bucks that some stuff would be included in the kiddibuzz. When we first opened it, it did a 3.5 hour update... then another 20 min update.. then it asked me for my credit card info so my daughter could use the texting app.. you also have to have wifi.

Horrible!! This is NOT user friendly! It says you can install Google play but that is a lie! I have contacted their support team. Still waiting to hear back. I hate that I even purchased this "phone". Its truly worthless. A regular $30 Android tablet with a case is better than this. Do NOT waste your time or money on this because you will be disappointed.
