I just got this for my son's second birthday. I love that you can personalize it and program it to send cute little emails. It is a little advanced for him at the moment but I think within a month he'll get the hang of it more. We have absolutely NO problem seeing the screen, there is no need for a back light like others are complaining about. My only complaint is that it does not come with its own USB cord for it to connect to the computer. Luckily we had a spare stored away that worked for the laptop.

My 2 year old loves this!!! It seems a little advanced for him still but he likes pushing the buttons and playing the music. Great product for the price. The screen is just a little hard to see.

What is the point of buying this if you cannot even see the screen?? The graphics are the same as from when I was a child (Im 27) which is ridiculous, why is it in black and white is should be in color come on VTECH you should be upgrading your graphics not just your prices! On the highest light setting you can barely see the screen so imagine what its like at night smh!!! DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS! Tbh just buy your kid a tablet a good tablet rather than this junk.
