vtech switch and go

When we received Brok the Brachiosaurus my son was SO excited. He was jumping up and down and I couldn't get him out of the box quick enough. As I was taking the dino out of the box, I love how sturdy it was. I knew it would be able to withstand the hard play that my kids are known for. With three kids, toys really take a beating in our house.

My 6 year old loved that he can press the action button and Brok would talk and move his head. He plays with it constantly and can easily convert it from dino to car mode. He was really happy that he was able to transform him easily because some of this other toys were very difficult or nearly impossible for him to transform from one form to another. He seems very proud of himself when he switches Brok. Even my 9 and 11 year old will sit down and play with Brok when my youngest has him out. They all think it's fun to watch him talk and move.

Brok keeps boys busy for hours on end!

Lined up at Toy Testing event to have my son try Brok. By far, he was one of the most popular toys that day. We gave Brok to my son for his birthday a month ago and he hasn't stopped playing with it since. Brok is one tough character - able to take the abuse of an imaginative 6 year old. Banging, crashing - no match for Brok! We have just added Sliver T-Rex and he's just as cool and tough. My son wants them all now!!

Awesome toy!

I have two boys and they are both just crazy about the Switch & Go Dinos! From the moment we opened the box, they were both enthralled.

There were several features of the Switch & Go Dinos that made them the perfect toy for my boys. First, their ability to quickly and easily change from a dinosaur to a plane or truck. Just when I would think that they boys were getting bored, they would quickly switch it over and be ready to play again! It was liking having two awesome toys in one!

Second, they are into anything that rolls, shoots or does any type of trick and the Switch & Go Dinos are perfect for this! One of our toys shoots food discs. Another launches a car and sends a dinosaur flying! Still another has a wrecking ball that can destroy everything in it's way! Add that to the fact that these toys roll and you've got a totally engaging toy that is sure to provide hours of fun!

But the fun doesn't stop there! Because just when you think these Dinos couldn't get any cooler, they do! With LCD screens that show pilots in vehicle mode, eyes in dino mode and talk and roar, the fun is just never ending! This interactive feature continues to draw the boys in time after time! My younger son loves to just push the buttons to hear them talk and will sit there and do that for hours! And my older son loves the phrases and that they are so interactive. My biggest challenge with these toys and my boys is getting them to put them down at dinner time and eat!

VTech Toys has done what they do best once again with the Switch & Go Dinos – they have created a toy that is fun, engaging and perfect for a wide range of ages! With simple talk features to complete transformations, these dinos are perfect for a range of ages and provide hours of fun for any child!

VTech Switch & Go Dinos Are All Boy Fun!

They had so much fun playing with the toy. They enjoyed converting him and making up stories to have him involved with. All I hear when they play is laughter. I purchased on for my Grandson last August. Both of my Grandson's loved playing with it so much that I had to buy another one.

This toy is a lot of fun for the kids

My son really wanted this toy, he thinks its really cool. However the blue car doesn't stay on very well and the pterodactyl shots off of it very easily. One of the legs/wheel got stuck after a couple days.

Big toy

this is an awesome toy! "Santa" brought this to our 4 year old grandson for Christmas this year. All he asked for was a dinosaur and a semi, this took care of both wants at one time. He was so excited and absolutely loves it!!

Awesome toy

I bought this for my son for his birthday and it was exactly what I expected. He loved his gift so much!

what i expected

First off, this Brok toy is large. A lot larger than other Swithc N Go Dinos that my son has. He likes it because it's so big, and that it has a little car that launches a pterodactyl that comes with the Brok toy.
Due to the size of the toy, it feels like some of the parts will break easily. It doesn't appear that the manufacturer scaled the quality / strength of the plastics with the size.
When in truck / race car mode (my son says its a race car, not a truck), you can roll it around on the floor, but if you pick it up the front arms and the cab (dino head) don't keep their position, and they droop down. So you have to re-arrange them when you set it back on the floor for playtime.
When switched to Brok the Dino mode from automobile mode, the large (very large) neck is so heavy, that it keeps retracting back into the Dino body. (the trigger to switch from auto to dino is the neck, so the toy keeps "switching" back and forth when in Dino mode.)
The body of the toy is large and heavy, and I'm not too comfortable with how long it's going to last. This might surprise me and still be around next year, but I'm thinking my boy and this toy's front legs are going to have an accident with the toy's legs being the loser.
