My daughter picked this out as a gift for her daughter who was born with down syndrome and autism. The sound is not loud enough to annoy adults, but loud enough for child to hear under normal conversation. Directions are simple enough for the child to intuit. Sounds and songs are varied enough to entertain for at least a year. And she might learn something.

This was for my 11 month old grandson and he loves it! It lights up, has music and then the booklet all go together so he will still enjoy this as he continues to learn since it teaches so much. I am very happy with this purchase.

Perfect gift for my one year old Granddaughter, especially since I live near the ocean. When she comes to visit we can sit at the beach and play with it.

My 1 year old niece loves this toy! I am so glad I bought it for her! She loves all the buttons, lights and sounds! It's great cause it says different things so it's not the same annoying thing again and again! And I like it cause it is helping her learn!

Great toy for kids!

It was for weight gain, and she gained weight  will probably get more in the future  it is for tube feeding so taste didn't matter

It was a gift and the child seemed to like it and played with it.  Makes enough noice and keeps him quiet.

Worth the money

This is a pretty cute toy and my grandson has been playing with it fairly often. My main complaint is minor; the on/off button is right there on the front and is part of the group that changes  the mode the turtle is in.  So when he is being over rambunctious about playing with it he will gleefully run the full range of buttons and it's irritating. On off on off. I'd rather those buttons were on the back or something. I do like that it has volume control.  And he likes answering the questions.

The package arrived in an oversized box with almost no packing material. The toy was loose and turned on playing a song inside the box. The box, not being securely packed was damaged. To make it worse it was dumped in the middle of the driveway.

Walmart may sell nice things BUT Poor Packing.
