This feeder works well for feral cats. The easy flip top makes it easy to reload and the dry cat food comes out easily.  It does hold a good amount .

exactly what I hoped it would be. I bought one several years ago, this size, and the new ones haven't changed. 
I use them to feed outside cats, holds enough for about a week for 8 cats. :-)

Good quality gravity feeder

My two dogs went right to their individual feeders with no problem.  The food drop down opening seems to be large enough to prevent clogging problems as food drops down.

My dogs actually eat now! It has been great for feeding them daily without the chore of adding food daily.

I don't use this very much only win I have to go out-of-town for a few days. Otherwise, it's well made and serves it's purpose.

I love the top load feature, makes my life easier!  I use for cats and don't worry about them running out, easy to see when it's low from across the room.

Love the top filling design. Only have to open the lid to refill it and dont have to take anything apart. Simple to wipe down and hand wash when needed.

This auto feeder seems to work very well
The only suggestion is to wash it with soap and water really good and dry it and then lety it set for a day or so .This will help remove the smel of the plastic
The only draw back is if you have a smart dog like ours is,he will lift the lid to eat out of it
There is ample food in the tray,but he opens the lid
We have two dogs and they went right to eating out of it no problem

what we ordered

They are not built like the old ones, very flimsy and the lid does not fit well. I'm not buying the larger size again, but will try the smaller one to see if there  is a difference.
