Filling process is straightforward with this design.

Simple design makes it convenient to use.

Top does not securely attach to the base, causing issues.

This feeder was purchased for a small cat.  It has a lid so you can fill it from the top and the hole for the food to feed down is adequate so it doesn't clog.  It holds more a little more than 6 cups.  It is a good value at less than $4.00 and I would purchase again but maybe 2 or a larger one.

I almost did not purchase these because the price seems so low, but I figured it was so low that even if I didn't like them, it was not a big loss. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how nice they are for the price. They are well designed to give you a finger grip to be able to easily pick them up with one hand. And they easily come apart to wash. Definitely would not be suited for a puppy or dog in my opinion. But they  are great for cats.

I try to change the feeder and water, every once in a while, I feel the plastic absorbs bacteria, and needs to be changed. Even washing them they get icky. This one is easy to fill, and wash, the bowel could be deeper, but it works and open at the top so no disassembly to fill.

'They say' don't overfeed your cats.. well, I live in the country with a cat door and a half-dozen  'ferals' I consider roommates. Fed twice a day, with this little feeder in case somebody wants a snack.
I snack, so do my friends. All of 'em.

It's nice and works well. They do need to increase the height of the plastic ridge where the upright food holder sits because the food falls over the side here and makes a mess of food on the floor. I have to insert paper here to keep the food from spilling out. All sizes do this.  I didn't notice it is “extra small” because it certainly is. Ideal for kitten size. My 21lb cat is a bit large for it but eats fine. I would not use this for any small ish dogs or larger cats. I'll likely buy a larger size. Good for tight spaces.

Great feeder but extra small it is.

I went on vacation and hired a sitter for my cats.  After two days of my alarm not going off I called her and she advised she lost my house key.  What a nightmare.  So never again.  I freeze water in this container and put it out for them while I am away.  It works great and I don't have to worry or depend on someone else to care for my cats.  Purchased the water dispenser too.  Several of these feeders while I am away work great.

Feeds 2 cats. Fill it every 4th day. Not super sturdy but seem to be fine for my 2 cats. Holds 5 and 1/2 cups of dry food. Perfect for my 2 beasts. Travel in an RV so it is small enough to not take up a lot of room in the RV. A larger one would be to big. The food stays fresh by filling on the 4th day. Price was great and seems to please the cats so far.

It's great for when you have a couple of cats to put the food in there so they don't run out when you gotta go somewhere

It's pretty flimsy but either than that it works fine. For some reason i thought this would work with water and food but it only works for food so i had to return one

Its a good item for the money. It is pretty cheap and u can tell that after the first use. The top on mine does not close anymore. I do wish the bowl was deeper though because if the food is gone and you go to refill it, the food goes to the floor when you fill the container. Other then that no complaints so far. Mind you I've had it for about a month so still a little early to tell how much use I can get out of it.

You get what you pay for

Not really an "auto-feeder" as you still have to shake it to make more come out when the bowl get a little empty. The top cap also doesn't stay firmly shut and your cats can easily open it.
