This is exactly what I needed. My dog and cat share the same water bowl therefore by the time I get home from a 9 hour day, it's empty. This waterer lasts a good 3 days and I'm ensured they have water all day long.

Worth every penny !

Got this for the cat to have additional water on the back porch, so far he loves it.

Got this for the cat to have additional water

I went on vacation and hired a sitter for my cats. After two days of my alarm not going off I called her and she advised she lost my house key. What a nightmare. So never again. I freeze water in this container and put it out for them while I am away. It works great and I don't have to worry or depend on someone else to care for my cats. Purchased the food feeder too. I bought a large and a small waterer they both work great.

Works great to dispense water.

Easy to use and clean. I wanted to see how long it last so I fill it as high as it would go and my 2yr old cat use it everyday and it last 6 days with some water still remaining in its a great product at a great price.

Love it

I bought this for my cat Charlie. He is a 3 year old Tabby and is my hunter for mice and rats as I live in a rural area. He has easy access to the outside and spends a lot of time searching for prey. He does an excellent job! Due to his high activity he gets thirsty often. He now has easy access to water whenever he needs it. At first I was disappointing that it only held 3 liters, but I then recalled that water can get kind of 'slimy' if it is left out for a long time, especially if an animal is drinking it. So now I am happy that it wasn't any bigger. It was filled 7 days ago and is still 1/3 full and not 'slimy'. That saves Charlie time, he now doesn't have to go looking for me to give him more water. It is a little hard to get it assembled and filled the first time, but once you do it you will find it is really easy.

always available

difficult to snap the cover on. and so much water leaks out as i try to place it on the bowl part.
it works ok i guess for a cheap unit but i had hoped for better.
seems easier to just refill the bowl manually instead of using the "automatic" reservoir thing.
on the plus side tho, my cat is no longer spilling the water when he steps on the bowl. this unit is much more stable than what we had previously.

NOT so easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found it very difficult to lock the lid in place after I filled it with water. It didn't latch back in place. I've been avoiding taking the lid off to refill so I've been filling it through the small hole in the bottom. Time consuming and will be difficult to put back together if you take it apart to clean.

Harder than it should be

jet.com

Like others have said, the lid to seal the tank is terrible. The quality is what I'd expect from the dollar store. Pay a bit more for better quality on a different one!

not worth it

I threw it in the trash. It fell apart the first time I used it. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. It was cheap...you get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

worthless piece of junk.

FedEx driver stated that the package was left Monday morning in outside storage, which I do NOT have, there's no photos for a reference to try and find at a neighbor and can't get any help for a replacement from them
