I was hesitant because of reviews regarding cracks and quality. I ordered anyways because I have other Van Ness items (litter containers, scoopers, etc) that are of decent quality. If treated correctly, these items are excellent for their purposes. Packaging is everything to my two cats Watts and Wyn and they approve and appreciate the box and protective  stuffing. Storage container arrived in perfect condition and stores 2 x 7.2 kg and 1/4 bags (kibble kept in original bags as recommended). Well done Van Ness, Walmart and FedEx. 5 stars.

I like it a lot mostly because the wheels are recessed. It looks good in my pantry. It is not heavy duty so I would not keep it outside or in the garage.

Exactly what I was hoping for.

With 7 dogs, we go through a lot of dog food! This is perfect to keep it fresh and be able to see when we need more dog food! Very convenient as well as well made and easy to open and close.

Great product!

I am very happy with this purchase.  It is sturdy, holds a lot of dog food and with the wheels on the bottom, it is easy to move around if needed.  The best feature is the lid.  It is sealed, clamps completely easily.  Highly recommend this product.

Wonderful Product

I ordered this to keep my dogs food fresh, I have considered ordering a similar product for months. I was expecting the wheels to be more caster type wheels that rotated. Admittedly am a bit disappointed, but have decided to keep product and make it work. It seems heavy duty enough, just doesn't sit as tall as I would like.

Not What Was Expected

Will hold 50 lbs but doesn't roll well at all when I put 40 lbs in it. I needed it to move easily but will keep it and keep looking for a different one.

wheels are not great

It arrived with part of the plastic hinge broken but my son didnt want to bother wirh the hassle of returning it to the store for an exchange.  Plus he was later told it's not recommended to store dog food in a plastic container as opposed to the resealable storage bag it originally comes in; it loses its freshness We're simply going to gift the item to whoever can make use of it.

Would have gave it a 5 but arrived broken I have 3 others love them the wheels are up inside so they won't break off I use mine for dog,pig,chicken feed my dog food is 55 pounds and fits perfectly

Great container when not broken

Item arrived damaged which seems to be an issue with so many who have bought this item when reading reviews. The bottom was smashed and clearly the company has not considered how to package this to prevent damage in shipping. There was a TON of bubble wrap placed only on the top of the item in the box and nothing under the product at the bottom. Disposing of this amount of bubbling wrap (and popping all of it) for a product I then had to return was infuriating. The container itself is exactly what what we've been looking for and our 30lb bag of dog food fit perfectly inside which was the intent for buying this. Now I will have to continue my search as I am 100% sure if I order this again, it will come damaged yet again. DO BETTER!!!!
