I have SEVERAL other Van Ness products as well and have always been fully satisfied with them too! I personally use these containers for my two dogs and one cat.......2 25lb containers for the dogs (one for food storage and one for treats/snacks/bone storage) and 2 10lb containers for the cat (one for food storage, one for treat and overflow food storage). This latest purchase in December 2020 was for my daughter who has two new kittens. I purchased 2.....one for a food and the other for treat/snack/pig ear storage. Never had a problem with any of the containers. The are sturdy, cute and they hold more than they state....my 25lbs container holds a 35lb bag of food with room to spare. The keep all the animals food/snacks/treats neat and fresh AND they are rodent proof!!

I needed a new storage container for my cats dry food and this was on sale so I went for it! It says it's capacity is 10lbs but I just poured a brand new 14lb bag of food in there and while it's full to the top, the latch still closes perfectly. 10/10 recommend!

Just what I needed!

I bought this container to store my rice. It fits a 15 pound bag of rice with no problem and it fits nicely in my pantry!! Very pleased with this purchase.

I own 2 of these for pet food and treats and they are the perfect size for my petcare needs. I have priced these on other sites and found them on the Walmart website the cheapest deal.

Perfect size

I bought the 25 lbs Van Ness container a little over a week ago as a diaper garbage can because I was told pet food containers were excellent for holding in smells.  It definitely delivered on that promise!  Easy to use, I can use my own garbage bags, no smell at all, and the rear half is on wheels which makes transporting it very easy.  Very satisfied with this product.

Holds Smell In

This container is perfect. It is the perfect size to fit in my cabinet and the perfect size for my cats bag of kibble. I wish I had found this container sooner. I saw some comments about it having wheels but  they must have been talking about a bigger size container. I looked at every picture I could find of this container to make sure it didn't have wheels because I didn't need one that big. So if you are looking for wheels this is not the right size for you.

Great cat kibble container.

I ordered this to keep my dogs food fresh, I have considered ordering a similar product for months. I was expecting the wheels to be more caster type wheels that rotated. Admittedly am a bit disappointed, but have decided to keep product and make it work. It seems heavy duty enough, just doesn't sit as tall as I would like.

Not What Was Expected

The container itself is fine, but the label took 15 minutes to peel off, ergo why I removed a star.  Kinda don't understand why any manufacturer is using labels like this. Make sure you have done Goo Gone type product if you don't like leaving labels on your stuff. Funny thing is that after all that, I found out the container is too tall for the shelf where I had the old food container lol (was using a 6 year old, falling apart cheeseball snack container.)  🤦 I'll have to do rearranging in the closet so the container can sit on the floor. Just mentioning it so you don't make the mistake I made.

Label on container is awful

i got the container but they didn't send the wheels 😕.  i don't want to return it just want the wheels.  looks like this had been returned and no one checked to see if the wheels were in it. sad....
