This keeps food and water from spilling onto floor. It is easy to clean...just rinse off. My dog can't move his food bowl off the mat which is great. I don't have to go looking for his bowl in the kitchen

This is the best purchase I have ever made for my 3 cats and 1 dog! This is a heavy weight mat that does not slide. There is no chance of any water or food spilling. Even my Australian Shepard has not been able to make a mess. Great product.

My cat is a messy eater. When she eats she always makes a mess - food comes out of the bowl and on the floor. With the mat under her bowl the mess is so much easier to clean up!

I have two Bengal cats. They are both messy cats with the dry kibble. One of my Bengals likes to play in the water bowl too. This mat contains the mess and keeps whatever is underneath the bowls dry and clean. I knew when I purchased this mat it was going to be just what I needed and it didn't disappoint.

It works well

This little mat has been a great item for containing spills from my pet's dish. When he drinks water, it goes everywhere and this mat is big enough to catch everything without taking up too much space. It also stays put and doesn't move around while he's eating and drinking.

Catches everything that jumps out of the bowl!

This is a great durable mat to put pets food bowl on to catch and retain anything that comes out when animal eating. It's a good nylon/ rubbery, so it doesn't slide around and easy to wash. I gave four stars because it needs to be about 2 inches wider to fit food and water bowl, and having two of them side-by-side takes up too much space.

My dog drools when drinking so I got this to catch water as much as possible. I have a rug that comes out from it as well. This holds the water in the tray so I can move it to the sink to pour it out. Works well.

I liked the feel of the mat because it was the thickness I wanted. However it was shipped folded so now it's warped and when you lay it, it isn't flat.

Reasonable price but didn't come as pictured

This mat was terrible. The bowls slid on the mat and the mat slid in the floor (very short carpet). It did prevent spills from getting on the floor, which is good. We put the mat in the dishwasher on the lower rack and it became permanently bent (it probably should have been on the top rack but it didnt really fit). We replaced it with a silicone mat that works much better.
