Love this as it smells just like the Herbal Essence of the 1970s which you probably can't get except on ebay for 200 bucks. I also use it as bath soap/foam. If you have fine hair (average caucasian hair) you probably only need one lather and I would avoid getting this in one's eyes, probably best used in the sink or shower rather than say for a kid in a bathtub. I know you can get this online as that is how I ordered it but I don't actually know if they have it in the store.

trip back to the 70s in a good way

Previously I used to have a mild shampoo containing coconut oil and Aloe vera for its nice coconut fragrance.
Now I like this herbal shampoo even better than my usual one. 
It goes well with the hair pack I started using to prevent hair fall.
I'll certainly recommend it to others.

I used this shampoo back in my country where was very popular for the herbal smell. I couldn't find it for years until now that Walmart nhhas it at an excellent price. And the quality is always the same... it's great 👍

Love this shampoo this has been my favorite it lathers in my hair good and leaves it smelling great and looks fresh and clean shiny too love it, very affordable price. I definitely recommend it.

The best shampoo

I've tried different shampoos over the years my hair gets oily very quickly, I recently discovered this shampoo while visiting a Mexican grocery store I was amazed by how much product this shampoo has it's much bigger than what we have here in the states! it also doesn't have bad stuff in it after trying this shampoo for the first time it left my hair very clean and shiny it kept its freshness for up to 7 days I was very impressed with how well this product worked for my hair this is gonna be my new permeant shampoo! bye bye other shampoos hello vanart!! ❤️❤️

Best shampoo ever for oily hair!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm old enough to remember the mid-1970's as a high schooler. We had the original version of Clairol Herbal Essence with that unmistakable scent.  This product isn't that, but I didn't expect it to be either. It's not bad for the price, no complaints.

Pretty good

This product works well, but only slightly resembles scent that I remember from the real Herbal Essence from back in the 70's.

Just okay, nothing special.

Do not use this with dyed hair. It strips away the color with just one wash. I was really excited to try this especially because of the size and price but after just one use, I noticed all my roots were showing after literally having it dyed two days prior to trying this out.
