[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the quality of Rodelle fair trade organic Madagascar bourbon vanilla extract not to mention the size of the jar. It's such a generous portion that I'm looking forward to using this for a long time. The flavor was so impressive and such a real tasting vanilla. The first ingredient is vanilla and that to me says quality. I guess I'm just used to artificial vanilla and I didn't realize the difference but we use this when we made a batch of sugar cookies and the difference was impressive. I might even actually use a little bit less vanilla next time since Rod Dell vanilla has such a rich flavor. It's going to be an important new ingredient when I do baking this holiday season. I know it's going to enrich all the treats that I make.

Upon opening the bottle, it smelled so good and not like chemicals I often smell in commercial vanilla. I used it for my famous cookie bars and they are delicious! The consistency and flavor was perfect, and I can rest assured knowing that my family and students are eating wholesome food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to thank Rodelle & Influenster for the opportunity to try Rodelle Fairtrade Organic Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract, 4oz, in exchange for an honest review. I have never tried any extract made with bourbon so I was quite curious. It has less of an alcoholic smell than regular vanilla extract. This is a good thing because I can easily taste the alcohol when using my prior vanilla extract and I would rather taste the vanilla flavoring. The big draw for this product is that it is certified organic, bean and alcohol.   

Test: I made fudgy brownie cookies using Rodelle's vanilla extract. It tastes so good with the vanilla flavor coming through that I am going to make a lot more cookies from scratch. I will enjoy the taste of vanilla in other recipes, too, such as waffles.   The only downside is that it is not readily available at my nearby grocery stores. However, I highly recommend it.

Organic vanilla extract with more vanilla flavor

A little goes a really long way, that's how you know it's high quality. Great bonus that it is organic.

Great quality vanilla

This fair trade organic Vanilla extract from Rodelle is crafted using high quality Madagascar bourbon. It's non-GMO and helps to pay local farmers a fair and living wage for their labor. It added the perfect amount of vanilla flavor to the coffee cake I recently baked, making it a wonderful treat the whole family can enjoy!

Natural and Delicious!

First I made a classic yellow cake with a homemade chocolate hazelnut icing and it was delicious. Then I used a splash in a morning vanilla latte and that was just as amazing! 
This Vanilla gets a total A+ in my book. For taste and aroma . It makes my whole house smell like a gourmet bakery!this one is officially a permanent pantry staple!

Top grade vanilla for those exceptional bakers or those that want to be exceptional

Really great product for baking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved Rogell's Fairyrade organic Madagascar bourbon vanilla. I used it recently when making a carrot cake and there are hosts of reasons I will choose this vanilla in the future over others. The aroma was warm and homey and made my entire kitchen smell like a bakery. The flavor was warm rich and very natural and mixed beautifully with the cinnamon and the carrots and blended for a rich, warm, moist cake. I also love the business practices of this company and that they source and use handpicked vanilla beans and use business practices that support communities. You feel like you're doing something good for the world as well as great for your recipe!

Yummy & good business

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love adding vanilla extract to baked goods recipes, even if they don't call for it, to deepen the flavour and add an extra kick. Therefore, we go through quite a bit of it in my household. Previously, I've been using the Kirkland Brand variety from Costco, but I love the idea of an extra dark flavour with the added bourbon component. From a moral standpoint, I also appreciate that Rodelle products are organic and Fair Trade, so when I was making my latest chocolate cake, I decided to slip some of this extract in.

The texture isn't too thin or thick and the flavour is quite rich. It's not exactly what I'm familiar with, but it wasn't different enough to give me pause. And it did the trick in adding that extra element to the flavour of the cake, so im extremely pleased with the final result. I did sample a bit with the tip of my finger and it tastes pretty good!

A great option that's Fair Trade and organic!
