My family has a very long legacy with red wing shoe, my grandfather retired as the plant supervisor of SB foot tanning, my grandmother worked in the factory stitching heels on boots for over 20 years and my uncle worked T&E and helped develop many boots for red wing, Vasque and Irish setter. I wore these throughout my time in the military and now as a civilian, excellent quality, comfortable and durable, and I have talked to many others over the years who have echoed the same. These boots have been everywhere, from the trails of glacier in Montana, the Jungles of the Philippines, to the shale mountains of Afghanistan. You won't regret picking up a pair for yourself.

Legacy of Excellence

Bought two pairs, one of each color pattern when they used to offer two.  One pair for everyday wear to work (office) and around town the other for yard work, hiking and whatever else.  I was a Merrell and Keen person but these have far out preformed both.  It will be 2 years soon and the soles are still great, no issues with the glue holding shoes together, no issues with stitching, inside lining is good and they still look good.  They have lasted twice as long as anything I tried recently.  I like wider toe box shoe but these have plenty of room.  I wish they still offered in two different color schemes.

Great shoes that lasts a long time

Please NEVER stop making these shoes…and offer additional colors. I have owned several different shoes from several different brands (Merrell, Keen, Salomon, etc…), these are freaking amazing. True to size, comfortable toe box, excellent traction/grip and they just look good!

New Favorite Shoe

I walk all day for work, and I'm very hard on shoes (water, chemicals and concrete all day long). I tired a pair of Merrell's and they fell apart in 6 weeks. I get 6 months out of these shoes, and for the abuse I dish out, that's an eternity.  As long as these shoes are being made, I'll never buy another shoe for work.

Best shoe I've ever worn

Literally all I wear!
I stumbled across these shoes by accident about five years ago and literally they are on my feet every day. When I lived in Bolivia I found them to be perfect on both dirt roads and urban sidewalks, and my days included both. Back in the US I can walk anywhere in them. I keep a newer, cleaner pair for when I travel, and at home a dirty pair to go on any path. The oldest pairs that have lost their bounce I wear around the house. Comfortable especially if you have narrower feet. I now have four pair of new ones in the basement because I?m afraid they might stop making them. Great shoe, with a big fan base too, including my granddaughter.

I heard and read these shoes by some Navy Seals. Best outdoor shoes I've ever owned. I have two pair.
I think that the wide offering really helps and is often missing from other brands. Please keep these shoes because I intend on buying more and four friends have also claimed their prize. If good enough for any Seal, it is great for me. I suggest the company donate to the Seals family fund!

Wear the shoes of our warriors

I love this product. I wear them all the time. I first started wearing them during my 2nd combat tour to Afghanistan after a guy on my team swore by them. I was used to team guys always wearing Merells so that's all I wore too. When I tried these I was pleasantly surprised. I counted on them in combat and They held up during every mission. My feet were always dry and comfortable. I will never wear anything but Vasque Juxt. Thanks!

Great product!

Over the past several years, these shoes have seen me through nearly 5k miles of backpacking and light hiking. Originally purchased for desert hikes in southern Arizona, these shoes have also seen me through sections of the AT and more recent adventures in the Colorado Rockies. I am typically very hard on shoes, however, these shoes seem to hold up against all types of abuse.

Unbelievably Durable

Someone gave me a pair of these shoes and they ended up sitting in my basement for over a year because I thought they were ugly as sin. I ended up being in a bind and needed a new pair of shoes. Through them on and they've been my go to shoe since then. Still think they are ugly but by far best pair of shoes I have ever owned.

Best Shoes Ever

The ZigZag stiching across the top/sides came apart. This stiching will unravel if you cut just one of the stiches. Mine started to unravel when I was hiking and one of the stiches got cut. They are comfortable and I think good looking, but the ZigZag stiching is an issue. I returned mine to the store I purchased them from.
