Set up the VegTrug Wall Hugger along a fence or wall to create a tidy and convenient vegetable growing area in very snug spaces. It's deeper at the back for large plants like tomatoes or cucumbers, and shallower in front for greens, herbs and other small plants. Grow plants at an easy working height; no bending or kneeling to plant, tend and harvest. The elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, too. Great for apartment or condo dwellers with balconies that have limited space.  And, you can take it with you if you move! This unit includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Quality construction and easy assembly. Looks great. Went together in about 1/2 hour. I do agree with some other reviewers that the wood used feels flimsy, but the finished product once filled is solid and again, looks great.

Walk hugger VegTrug

I ordered the medium wall-hugger vegtrug on-line a few weeks ago and assembled it myself yesterday...not difficult to do. I have 2 other Vegtrugs, as well, and they sit on my south facing deck. So wonderful to have fresh vegetables and herbs so close to the kitchen!
