This is my favorite protein powder! No sweetener, no added flavoring - just a perfectly adaptable low-calorie base for all kinds of high-protein shakes. I add banana, dates, red leaf lettuce, and frozen cherries - sometimes pineapple instead. For more staying power, add some almond butter. Perfect.

This product was recommended to me by a friend after I decided I couldn't use whey protein anymore. I've never been able to eat many vegetables (as much as I've tried to like them!) so I was nervous to try this protein with greens but I'm happy to say I love this drink. My son loves it too. We either use water, fruit and ice with it or we add peanut butter and banana. I've only tried the chocolate flavor of this protein so far. Like other reviewers mentioned it is sweet but I like that and it feels like I'm having a treat so it works for me as I'm trying to quit sugar and desserts. I have made this if I'm craving something sweet and it helps. I am glad I found this protein.

Love it

I really love the Vega products and use them almost everyday. My only disappointment was that the website was quite slow. I am not sure if that was a problem on my end it with the site. Hopefully next time I order everything will be resolved. Happy customer

Great product

I am trying to lose weight so I don't eat breakfast, just a cup of coffee and water. About 12:30 I mix the chocolate protein powder with a cup of milk and 1/3 of a banana and 1 large strawberry and some blueberries in a blender. It is delicious and satisfying until dinner time. I have lost 13 lbs,

I love the product and look forward to lunch every day.

I wanted to try a protein that didn't contain whey proteins so I bought this one. Yes it's different from what I'm used to as far as protein shakes but I can work with it. I am just glad it mixed in a shaker bottle without the lumps..I like it although with the greens it is an acquired taste so I may mix with a smoothie or try it with almond milk.

Very Different

I am used to the older formula with the Vanilla flavor. The older formula had less Stevia than the current product. Since I cannot stand the taste of too much Stevia, I chose the unsweetened version. Compared to the previous formulation, this tastes more gritty and powdery - similar to other pea protein based protein mix. The older formulation did not have the strong pea protein taste and texture. I wish Vega would bring back the older formulation.

Prefer the old formula

Sorry Vega, but I just can't get myself to chug my protein and greens smoothies any longer than I have to. I bought three containers the last time - which I did a couple of months before - but when I began to drink my smoothie from the new container I was shocked with the taste! Not a fan. I've been stuck with trying to finish them up and just opened the last one - thank goodness. I'm so disappointed. I came back to Vega after a long break of not buying protein powders but alas, I'll be going back to my frozen kale + chia seeds + peanut butter + banana / frozen fruit shakes once again...

Will no longer purchase due to new taste :-(

I bought a single serving packet to determine if I liked this and I am SO GLAD I didn't purchase more. The smell of the packet is like cookies and once you've mixed it into your normal smoothie ingredients (mine is fruit and kale) it's OVERLY SWEET. Even for someone who likes sweets, it goes well beyond being palatable. I would not advise anyone to purchase this, nor will I be purchasing Vega products in the future.

Overly SWEET

I had been using the Vega Proteins and greens Vanilla flavour for a couple of years for breakfast and I looked forward to it every single day.. until the formulation changed.. now I'm stuck with a container that with each swallow I feel like I will be sick to my stomach.. I'm so disappointed and am considering a complete change in product. I will try the salted caramel and we'll see how that goes.. fingers crossed..

Disappointed

I've recently just tried this product and had the worst headache within an hour after drinking my smoothie (which tasted great minus the graininess). I had a migraine for almost 2 days. I thought maybe it was coincidence but then my boyfriend made a shake today and had the same massive headache and neither of us have a history of migraine headaches. Not sure if it's something in the product or maybe an allergy as this is not the first time we've used protein powders. I've used other protien powders and no issue. Wishing I would have just bought the usual brand but was looking for something with better flavor.
