I was surprised when I received this as the blanket wasn't thick like velux blankets I had purchased in the past.  However, the blanket is very soft and now that I am using it in this cold weather, I am finding it to be very cozy.  It does an excellent job of giving me the added warmth  I need without being overly heavy on me.

I bought the "Sage" green and it is a beautiful green...almost neutral.  It is perfect in my guest room, so soft and cozy.  This is my second Vellux blanket I bought, so obviously I like it!  They wash and well very well.

Perfect in every way

I've always loved vellum blankets because they don't make you hot at night.   I'm one of those people who, even if  I'm hot, I need a snuggle blanket.  This blanket is the one!

Doesn't make you hot

This really is a nice warm blanket. My dog sleeps with me and his claws do not unravel the material. Easy to wash, and great product!

It is soft and nice.  I wish it was a full size for my 100 year old mother's bed.  It says full/queen but it is definitely a queen size...  What happened to the full size??

Soft but Queen Sized

Got this one to replace one that just disintegrated all of a sudden.  It is just as soft and just as pretty - but it is so much thinner that it is almost worthless as a blanket.   This one had a chemical odor when we opened it, and had to air it out for 2 weeks before we could put it on the bed.   I would recommend this only if you a looking for a blanket that is only slightly heavier than just a sheet.

Miss the good old blanket

Color is OK but a bit too gray.  Comes in a vinyl bag and smells like chemicals.  After washing twice and line drying, smell was OK.  But the texture was artificial foam feeling instead of comfy and soft.

Warm and lightweight but feels unpleasant.
