I searched the internet for this item and found plenty of them advertised, but the retailers were slick with their ads and when I considered their outrageous shipping rates, I found the Walmart STS was the best deal around. Verbatim makes a great product and it was recommended by my software manufacturer, and it has lived up to its reputation as one of the premier manuf's of quality DVD disc's. Since I didn't have to pay shipping charges, Walmart was the best deal going.

Not all DVD burners can take advantage of the full 8X speed of these disks. If your burner can only burn them at, say, 4X, it is the fault of the burner, not of these DL disks. I have never had a bad burn with either these disks or other (slower) Verbatim media that I have used. The only thing I'd change about them is the price--not as expen$ive as Blu-Ray disks but still to high.

Excellent media!

Verbatim DVD+RDL

I have only burned one DVD-DL which was for a backup copy of Windows 7 Professional. Both layers burned and it appears to be okay. I have not tried to use to install the software.

Had No problems

They work great for burning data that doesn't fit in a DVD-R.  I have yet to find one that's defective.

The discs are great but its a little expensive than the others like kodak is 16$ for 25 discs I paid 22$ for 15 discs

Good discs

This product works great when you need additional memory capturing your valued memories. Wal-Mart is a great place to order from online when it's not carried in their stores, not only for price, but quality of service as well.

Dual Layer DVD Disk

Verbatims are the best hands down high quality disks. The ones i got were mk003's

Verbatim 8.5GB, I could not record on disks, the only reason I did not return items, was my so threw away box that the Verbatim 8.5GB was delivered in.
