Cuisine

Verka Ghee (clarified butter) is prepared by melting and simmering butter until all water evaporates and the milk fats remain to 99.8% minimum. It has a sweet, nutty flavour and is the cooking medium choice in Indian Cuisines. It can be used in place of butter when sauteing or browning. Ghee keeps for months without refrigeration as long as you don’t allow moisture to get in.

Value For Money

Can be smooth and creamy, but also weird and inconsistent.

Can be rich and pure, but also inconsistent or impure.

Can be rich and delicious, but also lacks aroma and flavor for some.

Has a strong, pungent aroma that may be off-putting to some users.

Really impressed with the flavor and purity of this ghee. A little goes a long way, and it adds a wonderful taste to everyday meals. One of the best desi ghee brands I've tried. The texture is smooth, the aroma is rich, and it enhances the flavor of everything from dal to rotis.

Best Brand for Ghee

It was received before expected, good packing.

Excellent Service

I have not purchased Ghee until I bought this. I wanted to find a substitute for butter.

This appears to be the best bang for the buck at Walmart and it tastes great. Anyone who loves popcorn listen up!..... This is fantastic in place of coconut oil, vegetable oil or butter (and has a nigher smoke point then most so wont burn). I will keep buying this.

Great product

Excellent quality ghee with a rich aroma and authentic flavor. We use it for cooking, baking, and spreading on rotis. Will keep on buying it. It's the best ghee I found in Walmart

Pure and Good Quality

[Employee of walmartcanada] Really awesome to cook

Verka ghee

I use this Ghee butter instead of butter to cook anything in a pan. It has a much higher burn temperature. It is great for frying eggs, fish etc.

Bad quality of the ghee something mixup

Received item damaged/broken seal and container, have no time to visit the store for return the broken item.

Broken

Ghee is leaking from the bottle. I don't know how they handle these kind of liquid items as it should be sealed

Item Damaged

The quality of the ghee is horrible. It stinks and is hardly edible. We threw the entire box in garbage

Gee! Not Ghee

Verka Pure Desi Ghee - 3.5 LB 1.6KG clarified butter with smooth texture and sweet, nutty aroma; milk fats to 99.8% minimum, versatile cooking medium for Indian cuisine suitable for sautéing and browning, long shelf life and keto-friendly, often used to finish roasted vegetables or stirred into hot beverages.
