You can use it all over the house on Windows, Doors, Stoves, Fridges, Dishwashers, Washers, Dryers and many more.  Two (2) easy installation methods available: Magnetic for steel surfaces, or Adhesive for all surfaces. This magnetic curtain rod has a 1/2in diameter and is ideal for lightweight or sheer curtains. It works perfectly for me. I use it to hang quilted wall hangings on my steel door.

For this product to be perfect,  you'll have to  add neodymium magnets to this. The magnets that comes equipped with it does the job if you don't plan on the door slamming and the curtains NEED to be light weight. Great alternative to not drilling a hole through your metal door.

Magnet curtain rod.

Got these to hang curtains on my french doors so the panels are very narrow. Since they are narrow curtains, I felt the magnets could surely hold them. They do not. I have to place the magnets against the frames of the windows to hold them from sliding down the door. In doing that, the curtains do not extend to the outside of the windows very far and if the curtain is bumped, the magnets slide away from the glass frame and down the door. During the time of day that there is traffic through the door, I simply remove the curtain until night when the doors remain closed. I would not recommend these if the curtains are very long or if the curtains will be bumped or touched very often. They are pretty and do look nice, but needs a stronger magnet. These curtains are not heavy and, as I said, long and narrow.

Horrible. The rods don't even fit in one end. Used the double-stick pad included, fell right off. Wish I had kept the package. I would return them in a heartbeat.
