Not like the vintage aluminum trees I see in resale shops.  Not aluminum, plastic, needles are small, and branches are not removable.   I would think that after a couple of seasons of bending, the metal branches will break.  On a positive note, it is easy to set up.  Simply pull the item from the box, slide it into the stand, and then start bending the branches into place.

I have always wanted a vintage aluminum tree and can not afford what the dealers are asking. 
This is the closest one I have found that resembles one. It holds a ton of ornaments and stores easily back in the original box for storage.

Used as a window display in my flower shop - it looks adorable - it is not as full as pictured and is definitely NOT aluminum, which I assumed it probably wasn't, but it should be advertised as a tinsel tree.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.  Although we no longer have my mother's original real deal Christmas tree that we very much were emotionally tied to, this Vickerman tree closely resembles it.  It is just perfect.
