[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been slowly upgrading all of our cookware to higher-end stainless steel, and so when I got the chance to review this piece from Viking I was excited to knock another one off our list. It's very comparable to other brands we have (not sure if I can list, but think of some of the other heavy hitters in the stainless steel space) and we're super happy with it.

I can't wait to see how it holds up over time, but for now, we're super impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Viking 3-Ply Stainless Steel 12-Quart Stock Pot is almost too beautiful to use.  Not only is it stunning, with its polished stainless steel exterior and equally beautiful 304 surgical-grade steel interior (with clear, easy-to-read measurement lines etched into the side), but this stock pot also has substance.

This is a serious piece of cookery.  No lightweight, this has the comfortable heft and durability of the well-built, chef-quality Stock Pot that it is.  Made of 3-ply bonded stainless steel with a thick aluminum core, heat is  distributed uniformly (and EVENLY) from the base all the way up the sides of the pot; and it won't react with acidic or alkaline foods. The signature Viking riveted stay-cool handles are easy to grip, hold, and drain even when the pot is full.  To top it off it's easy to clean (hand-washed or dishwasher), it can be used on a variety of cooktops (electric, gas, induction, halogen, ceramic, oven), and it comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This 12-Quart Stock Pot is truly a work of art.

I've used it a few times this Summer to make large-batch dishes for our pool parties, and it'll receive serious heavy-duty use come Fall.

In summary, I love everything about this beautiful heavy-duty stock pot and I personally recommend my Viking 3-Ply Stainless Steel 12-Quart Stock Pot to anyone looking for a beautiful versatile chef-quality stock pot.

THIS HEAVY-DUTY CHEF-GRADE STOCK POT IS A WORK OF

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This 12 qt Viking stockpot is huge while not taking up an overly large amount of space on the cooktop. The heat distribution is even and immediate, providing a consistent cooking surface and great heat conduction all the way to the top of the pot. It cleans quite easlly with just soap and water and is obviously well made.  The high quality polished stainless steel and tightly machined lid exude quality and durability providing for years of (probably generational) use. An added bonus are the measurement lines on the inside of the pan allowing for accurate measuring when using a pot filler or when a precise amount of ingredient is required. While a little pricey, you definitely get what you pay for so if you are particular about your culinary equipment, you will not be disappointed!  This is my first piece of Viking cookware but it definitely won't be my last.

It is strong and sturdy, stainless steel, beautiful quality, 12 quart capacity, which is huge ... honestly don't know that I will ever use full capacity. The heavy 3-ply stainless steel heats evenly, and the metal lid seals in flavor. Handles are strong and comfortable, even when it's full. Also, really easy to clean —- love it! 

Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you want a reliable, high-capacity pot that will last for years.
