I love this stuff! I'm pretty sure the formula changed a bit in the last 6-12 months, because the colour and smell are a bit different, but it does a great job. I have a house cleaning business, and I get many compliments from clients and their company. I nearly fill an empty Dawn soap bottle with water, then put about a cap full of the cleaner in. It covers quite a bit of area using a flat mop. Never seems to streak unless the mop head is too soiled. I think it works just as well as Murphy's on wood, and the price is way better.

Recommend for any kind of wood floor.

I have used this Vim product for my laminate flooring for many years now . Cleans very well, nice smell and no rinse required.

I have been using VCE vim to clean my house from floor to ceiling for years and it does the job perfectly. The pleasant smell leaves no trace and does not make surfaces sticky like some other products. I personally could not do without it for my household I highly recommend it

I echo the other customers' reviews... I have been using the Vim wood floor cleaner for many years on our hardwood floors. The product used to be excellent, leaving shiny floors and the smell was just wonderful. People would even ask what product we used! I was extremely disappointed when I stocked up again and opened a new bottle. The new smell is nothing comparable to the old one. Unfortunately, I will have to find another floor cleaner as we find the new aroma quite repulsive... Please bring back the old wood floor cleaner!

I am using a product called “Vim Wood Floors Surfaces” to clean the wood floor in my house. I was following the instructions on the back of the product to test first in a small inconspicuous area. Nothing really happened. Then I was following the instruction to utilize the full strength of the product by applying it to my floor and wiping it away in a few seconds. The next day I found that my floor was bubbled up at several locations! The bubbled locations are on the edges. It looks really ugly as shown in the pictures. I think the reason could be the that the product accumulated in the gap between the edges. It happened when I apply the product to the floor though I wipe them away in a few seconds, but what's left in the gap wouldn't be removable. 

I called the Vim after. They asked me to answer lots of questions, send them pictures about the floor damages, and send the product that I used. I totally did what they asked and explain everything. After a few month, they called me back again to say they are not responsible for the damage, and they are saying the damages were probably from myself by something else, but not by their product. 

My wood floor was pretty new (around 2 years old). To repair those damages I have to replace the entire floor which would cause me more than $10,000. However, Vim just want to release their responsibility to me about their terrible products.  Now my floor look terrible!

My suggestion to you all is never use their products because Vim's products can cause damages to your floor or home! Also they have really terrible attitude towards us by passing their responsibility to us.

I have attached many pictures which shows the product I used and the floor that was damaged by this product called “Vim Wood Floors Surfaces”.

My terrible experience with Vim Product

I have used the old vim hardwood and laminate floor cleaner for years. I clean residential homes, so I purchase at least 12 bottles at a time when I restock. 
All of my clients loved the old formula and would ask what I was using. They loved the smell, it was quick drying, did not leave a residue, never streaky and was reasonably priced. It was a win win for me and them! 
Now you have this new formula, the smell has changed, not unpleasant but not the smell we fell in love with, it left a residue on the floor, was streaky and took longer to dry. Ugh!!! So disappointed!

PLEASE bring back the old formula OR tell me where I  can buy the old one. I am so disappointed in this product! I will have to find another product for cleaning hardwood and laminate.  

I love the vim line products, but I will not spend money on your new hardwood and laminate formula!

WHY???? DID YOU CHANGE THE FORMULA?

Have been using this product for over two years on my laminate floors. Bought the "new" product about 2 months ago and my house cleaner and I immediately noticed the smell was different.  Then the floor is not as shiny and there seems to be a residue that makes the chairs w/pads under them, harder to slide. Does not dry as fast as the previous formulation. I noticed that reviews by professional cleaners, as long time users and in many different venues, had the same concerns.  Will have to investigate other brands now, as am not able to find old stock at my usual retailers.

Changed -- not for the better!

I have been faithfully using the Vim Hardwood floor cleaner , for 2 years ! But now they are only selling, a orange wood floor cleaner? With a whole different smell? And leaves a residue on floors as well!! I am so disappointed...and would love to have the old brown colored, wood floor cleaner back!!!! It was all I bought, as a residential house cleaner, and also all I ever recommended to my clients!! Now I am looking for a whole different brand & I have yet to find another I like as much!!
So disappointed ☹
