I used to buy the stoned wheat thins that are now discontinued. These Vinta crackers are about the closest replacement I can find but they're not good enough for me to stop looking for something better. The flavor is good but not salty enough. But the texture is where these lose the biggest points. They're not super crunchy and you can't spread anything on them in advance. I like to put laughing cow cheese on the other crackers and take them for work lunch. Discovered the hard way that after a couple hours these go completely soggy. So gross.

It's like they're the drab chauffeur driving a Rolls-Royce of brie. Without a tasty topping, you're left wondering if you've mistakenly picked up a cracker or an artsy coaster.

They have this aura of being "fancy"—the kind of snack you'd serve at a party to look like you have your life together. But deep down, both you and your guests know they'd rather be eating buttery Ritz or literally anything else. Still, if you like your snacks dry, bland, and just on the edge of edible, Vinta crackers will fill that void in your pantry—and your soul.
