The ladder itself is very sturdy.
I like the fact that you can adjust it for different heights for different pools. It's a very heavy ladder and I see it being very durable. 
However, the assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. The pictures are small and the follow-through on the instructions is questionable. I wouldn't have purchased. Had I known about the instructions.

Sturdy, but…..

This ladder is not as stable as it looks. A light wind blew it over so I used two bungee cords to tie it to the frame of the pool. The sliding steps will pinch your fingers if you are not careful. When climbing the ladder, it feels shaky. I wish I had spent the extra money on a better ladder.

Unstable in water, easily floats and moves

I would go with a different ladder, you have to bolt this to your top rail as it is lile a lego set snapped together. Poor design, hard to use when dept of pool is different from grade outside of pool. Had to physically cut the legs down to get it to work and added a ton of bolts to it to shore it up. Unless you like reengineering what you buy instead of the pain of returning it.... do not buy this. If you do you may need extra stainless hardware (threaded rod, nuts , washers , a circualr or sawsall, a drill, a bit for 3/8” hardware, tape measure, hammer, screwdriver, ratchet

Nightmare assembly form plantet confusion

For the price, item was well made and seems solid. The problem was with the directions. They were very difficult to follow. It wold have been nice to follow a video as most companies do this today (via Youtube).  Couldn't find one.  As for the height adjustment...  We needed different heights for both outside and inside ladders.  Our inside height was different than our outside heights and one of which landed at a 1/2 mark....  This is where the problem was. We couldn't choose a height between the drilled holes, so that left us with nearly two inches of space, not allowing us to screw the top to the top rail of the pool...

Height is not truly adjustable...

Absolute Garbage!
Steps bend under the weight of my son (145lbs) and wobbles like crazy...I was waiting for it to topple over  while climbing it...Dont waste your money!
BTW: I gave it 1 star only cuz there wasnt any option to give it ZERO.

The ladder came needing square holes to put together (I have never seen this before), but obviously this is not anything we can do and should have been done by the factory. It is still sitting in our garage and was a HUGE waste of money. Do not buy this product!

A waste of money!

I bought this ladder in March. My mistake was not opening the box when  I  got it. Well I put my pool up 6-5-21  and then open box to put together the ladder there were broken pieces ,the parts  were not pre drilled. I Can't return it past the return date. Seller said i have to deal with the manufacture for warranty
coverage. The box is huge and has weight  to ship it back is to  expensive . I just wasted  $ 219.32 for a ladder that will never be used. THUMBS DOWN

Don't waste your time

It was easier to Grade my property for the pool and put the pool together than it was to put this Akia type latter together, No room for a ratchet set driver, Honestly it would of been better to ship this almost fully assembled. I am a disabled Vet and this was a hard product to assemble. I don't recommend this product for anyone. UGH!
