Good quality. Love the fact that they are free run. Never any fertilization spots - like that they come in an 18 pk size.

Free Run - how great is that.

They're not the cheapest, but these are my favorite eggs.  Why?  I always try to buy free run eggs for the sake of the chickens.  These shells are really hard and the yolks are a rich orange, not an insipid yellow. That says to me that these chickens are getting a good diet.  Plus, these are really large eggs.

I have purchased Vita Eggs Free Run eggs multiple times, and recently experienced the same issue for the second time.

In this order, none of the eggs had the expected pink stamp code on the shell. In addition, the yolk color was inconsistent. Some yolks were pale yellow like standard eggs, while about 30% appeared more orange. This variation raises concerns about whether the eggs are from the same source or match the labeled product. In a previous purchase, about half of the eggs were stamped while the other half were not, which was already unusual. Based on my experience, all eggs from this brand should normally have consistent markings.

Another concern is that the cartons are not sealed and can be easily opened, which makes it difficult to ensure the product has not been tampered with before delivery.

Although Walmart issued a refund, I believe this issue deserves more attention, especially for a food product where traceability and consistency are important.
