Let me start by telling you that this is my first review, ever. I felt like sharing my experience to help buyers in hope you read this before buying.

It won't download photos. I did everything by the book in setting up the program. You can see that the photos are downloading but where do they go? FYI - I'm computer literate ;) don't worry. I called customer service and they could not help me. I gave the item number as requested and I felt they were from a different planet - no idea what they were talking about. 

Honestly.. I'm a little disappointed in Walmart for carrying such a bad product. And I normally search and read reviews before buying but in this case, I needed something asap so I went for it. Save your time and money!!

Terrible

Might be good to take underwater photos but I never was able to transfer any photo to my computer. Needs a USB 1.1 driver that Microsoft doesn't seem to support anymore so impossible to download. Camera back to the shop within a week. Complete loss of time and energy...

Complete loss of time and energy. Very poor

Bought this camera for my daughter for camp, will be returning it asap.  Took out of box and was more than disappointed.  Not much information on box for description for features.  No option for increasing memory.  If batteries die or are removed you loose all the pictures!!  Better off buying water proof disposable cameras.

Poor quality and features

This camera is worse than terrible. I bought it for our family trip to Jamaica as it said it could store up to 100 pics and could take videos too. After opening the package to get to the manual, I set it to take good quality pictures, and all it would store is about 27. Without a screen to preview I had no idea what I was going to end up with for pictures. These “good quality” pictures are TERRIBLE quality! Terrible for up close, far away, above and under water! We only have two pictures that are barely ok. One of the two was taken of us in front of a huge waterfall, from about 15 feet away from us, but the camera which doesn't have an adjustable zoom didn't even catch any of the background, the picture is pretty much just of us two people! When we took pictures from 5-8 feet away it barely got more than the person's head in the frame! This camera is just garbage! I wish I could get my money back, and that I could have had some nice pictures from this once in a lifetime trip. Do yourself a favor and get something else!

Not even worth one star...

I bought this recently and it was very cheap in all aspects.....there was no screen on the back ago you can't even review the photo you took and the lens you look through was extremely small....I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Not good!!

The plastic hinge was broken when we opened it up.  There is no screen on the back to show the picture.  Being returned asap

Junk

If the device runs out of battery and/or we change the batteries BEFORE we have transferred the photos, we lose the full contents of the photos from the device. Not practical at all on a trip!!! I am completely dissatisfied with this product.

I hated it and asked for a refund.

Bought, inserted AAA batteries, followed all instructions, no images on camera after trip.  Could not get to take a picture no matter what we tried.  DO NOT BUY.  Complete waste of money and time. Also you need a CD/DVD rom on your computer to load software.

Does not work

The CD is mandatory to read the photos but I do not have a CD player in my computer??? In addition their site does not offer the dechargament of the installation software I feel that it is a toy more than a camera. This product would be great in 2007 Tomorrow I ask for refund

A toy folds as a camera

WARNING, you cant upload pictures off of the camera.  When you connect the camera to a pc with windows os via usb it does not detect the camera.  The manual says to install image zone from a cd(which is not included).  you can't download image zone from Vivitar's website.  You can download Image viewer but they don't have this model camera as an option.  Garbage company needs a zero star not 1 star!!!!
