Battery Life

Extremely good quality, great picture, a ton of mounting accessories with an extra enclosure door and even an extra battery. I can't believe how good it is with all that it comes with.

Best camera on the market! My camera order came extremely fast, which had me taking pictures with this jewel, much sooner. Highly recommend.

Best camera on the market

I bought this as an impulse buy since I have a GoPro 2 that is getting old and has a broken case. I am a huge fan of the WiFi capabilities, and also appreciate that it is compatible with GoPro gear. The main problem I have with it so far is just that the video quality is very low. It may be 1080p, but something that I did not think about before buying this was that high resolution does not ensure quality. The lens on this thing is pretty bad, so if it's not a completely bright and sunny day outside your video will be grainy.

You get what you pay for

The design for the case is faulty. There is only a small washer on the inside of the case that holds each of the buttons in place. We were snorkeling and the little washer fell off inside the case and the button came off the camera. The camera case filled with water. We found the button but not the other two pieces. If you absolutely need waterproof, don't buy this product.

Don't buy if you need it to be waterproof.

I would give it ZERO stars but it won't allow me.  I bought this for a family vacation and was SO EXCITED about using it.  No joke, it literally worked for 15 mins and then froze up and I couldn't do anything until the battery died.  Tried it again and it did the same thing.  It sucks and I really wish I bought another camera because I didn't get any pictures/videos of my vacation except for the 4 that i took before it tore up. It's JUNK.

I would give it ZERO stars but it won't allow me

I got this camera at Yuba City Wal Mart 2 weeks ago thinking it would be great since it has specs almost identical to the GoPro for $100 less.  Boy was I wrong.  I was going camping, looking forward to shooting some great video of the mountains on this camera.  It did literally ONE movie for about 2 minutes and froze.  I tried THREE different memory cards with it, all class 6-10.  no change..just blinking lights and freezing up.  It literally drained my two 60lb optima batteries on my 100W solar system on my camper while trying to get this thing to work.  It's junk.  I wanted to throw it in the lake or drive over it.  It made me so mad, it ruined my entire vacation.  I lost my receipt and now I am stuck with this piece of junk.  Do yourself a favor - pass.  I will pass on all vivitar products after this experience.  forever.  junk.

Wished I could give it zero stars.  I had another review written but it was deleted.  I'm just going to say don't buy this product, the case IS NOT watertight at all.

Horrible DO NOT BUY

Just picked this up to replace my old waterproof camera that finally died.  All of the photos I took with it look like I used a crooked fish eye lens.
