i really like this camera..it has a little view box so you can see your selfie before you take the pic..the red color is great,too...my old camera had more features which just confused me..this camera is easy to operate..i just wish it came with a memory card and a case..

Easy To Use Camera !!

I am really thinking about sending both of these back. The photos look gray scale when looking through the viewing lens. I am going to have the kids download the photos on the computer and see if they are better, but I am not hopeful.

Not happy

It was for my granddaughters 8th birthday she just loves it the view screen is a little small but for a first camera it is great

I brought this for my 6 year old grand daughter. She just loves it and it also take great photos.

For a Guy? Except for the Pink Color, $7 More for the Blue One? Nice Con Job..I sprayed  my Pink one, black..
But Simpple lens and yes, if want better Lenses? buy the optional 50-200mm .. But btwn that and buying a SDHS Card? your now upto over $50 and I don't store my Pics on the Camera- I download them into my PC and specal edit them and store them in my PC and Flash Card.. so only need a 4-8 G card for it.. Being a Minimalist and  KISS..

Yes, you get what you pay for.  Could have been made better, but I purposely bought the cheapest model and I got what I paid for.  The picture quality has not been very good, the pictures look like what we use to get from our old cell phones cameras when they first got cameras on them.

Low end digital Camera

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. I put brand new batteries in it, and the camera will not turn on. Thinking the batteries may be bad, I tried them elsewhere, and they worked fine. I have a very dissappointed little girl today.

Garbage

I'm a flyfisherman and wanted a simple camera that I could keep on a lanyard and use to take photos of fish after capture. I thought Vivitar was a reputable name, but how wrong I was! The picture quality is appalling! Most of the time the photos are nowhere near focused, even on distant objects! Does this thing actually have autofocus? Even the old Brownie box camera with fixed focus that I had when I was a kid produced clearer shots than this! In fact, I'm beginning to wonder if there's even a LENS in this thing, or whether it isn't actually a pin-hole camera. All in all, I'm embarrassed that I even bought this piece of junk. I know it didn't cost much, but I shouldn't have to pay money for something that has absolutely NO useful purpose. I am not allowed to give a product less than one star here, but this thing doesn't deserve that.
